The Soares Cup: Final

Greetings amigos,

Last weekend saw the staging of the 15th final of The Soares Cup, and it proved to be one of the closest finals in Predictio history. SJ outscored Nick by the odd point in 13 to win the final 7-6 and lift the trophy for the third time in his career - congratulations amigo! In a cruel turn of events, Nick tastes defeat in the final for the second consecutive season, but hopefully can take at least some consolation from how close this year's showpiece event proved to be. SJ will be hoping that he can take this momentum into the final weeks of his domestic campaign and secure a league and cup double.
