The Soares Cup: Matchday 3

Greetings amigos,

The halfway stage of the group phase sees things starting to take shape in terms of who is likely to progress to the latter stages of the competition, and who might be able to focus solely on their league campaigns come the spring. Group A saw Phil comfortably dispense with Theo L 13-5, which leaves things very tight in the standings with Theo W currently top of the pile by a single point. Adam looks to have one foot in the semi-finals as he maintained his 100% record in the tournament via an 8-5 victory over Ben, whilst in Group C we saw one of the lowest scoring encounters in Soares Cup history where Nick defeated Dave 2-0 to register his first win.

Any mistakes let me know, Matchday 4 will take place during the weekend of 6th & 7th December.
