The semi-final second legs produced tight encounters but ultimately, only two managers could triumph and those were myself, who defeated Ben 6-3 to win 13-10 on aggregate, and SJ, who extended his first leg advantage over Phil to 17-12 by way of an 8-7 victory.
As such, it will be a Predictio Founders' final between SJ and myself. Although we have appeared in a combined 6 Soares Cup finals it will be our first meeting at the ultimate stage of the tournament. SJ will be hoping he can repeat his 2015-16 domestic double, whilst I will be striving to secure my first major silverware since I did the double myself way back in 2012-13.
The final will take place during the weekend of 6th & 7th May.
