The 2022 tournament was thrown into controversy with 'Cunning-gate', as Mr Moore copied Mr O'Callaghan's predictions in an attempt to secure a guaranteed passage through to the final of the competition. The Predictio community had their say, and Mr Moore scored 0 points in the gameweek as a result. With that being the case, Adam defeated Phil 7-0 and triumphed 13-9 on aggregate. In the other semi-final, Dave again failed to field a side, meaning Ben walked his way to a 9-0 win and 17-0 on aggregate.
As such, the final of The Soares Cup will be contested between Adam and Ben and will take place during the weekend of 7th & 8th May.
