Greetings amigos,
The penultimate round of fixtures in the group stage of The Soares Cup produced some resounding victories due to the no-shows of a couple of managers - in Group A Nick delivered a 6-0 win over Theo W, whilst Theo L was relentless in his 13-0 thrashing of Dave. Nick has booked his place in the semi-finals with a game to spare, whilst Group C is going to the wire as Theo L and myself are both on 7 points. Group B saw SJ edge Ben out 11-9, and as such, SJ has one foot in the semi-finals; it's not all done and dusted just yet though - Phil can win the group with a victory over SJ in the final round of group stage fixtures next month.
