Greetings amigos,
The 2018 Soares Cup got underway last weekend and it produced three pretty comfortable home wins to kick off proceedings. In Group A Phil outgunned Adam 7-3 to take the early initiative in the standings, whilst in Group B Theo L defeated Dave 5-2 to get his competition off to a similarly promising start. The result of the round however came in Group C, where Ben put Theo W to the sword somewhat as he triumphed 9-2 to send a message that he means business in his efforts to win back the trophy he won in 2014-15.
Any mistakes let me know - Matchday 2 of The Soares Cup will take place during the weekend of 14th/15th October.
